markiemrboo Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 I can't remember if I asked before. I need to cut two 30mm holes and a 20mm hole in some metal. I think Dad said that the smallest holesaw he saw was 34mm, too big! I managed to cut a square on a scrap case I had, but a circle seems far too difficult at this size! Maybe I could grind it down...into a circle...somehow? I aint really sure how to do that though I can see the grinding thing being worn down real quickly? Anyone got any experience cutting smallish holes like this with a Dremel? If not I will go out on a serious hunt for some holesaw's. I saw some 20mm and 30mm ones online but the postage was

markiemrboo Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 The Chassis punch? So I did ask before Very sorry! If I could find them in the UK the right sizes I probably would. But, as it happens, I googled and didn't find anything like that in the UK. I have, however, seen the right size holesaws (like I said above). Right now though... i'm wondering if it's possible to make a clean, round, small circle with a dremel style tool and normal sized cutting discs. If there's no ways of possibly doing it nicely _then_ i'll have to hunt for a holesaw all over town.... and as a last resort order them online.
