VolcomPimp Posted September 21, 2002 Posted September 21, 2002 ok here's how you network... get 2 computers w/ nic's and connect w/ a crossover cable... heh well thats the simplest way to do it... you dont HAVE to have a router or certain device... but if you have a couple comps connected through a hub, switch or router then yes its a network. Also your cables dont always stop working at a certain number of feet everytime, ussually you can go longer than you are supposed to... if it works then it works... but it might not be a smart thing to do.... if you just need to extend a cable length get a repeater...
