Vernacular Posted September 14, 2002 Posted September 14, 2002 Does anyone know what would cause the "Read Only" preference to automatically check itself? Every directory on my external USB HD has marked themselves as Read Only. If I uncheck them and then go back a minute later, they are checked again. Windows XP with SP1. Any thoughts?
