skibar350 Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 Do you have an APC like 1000va or something? Apc battery backup would be in order for your problem? If anything it would save you from over and under volts. Under volts can be just as bad if not worse. I have a house that is very old too, made out of redwood with like 10 or 12 gag copper wiring. ( Big stuff ) I had to shove a copper rod in the ground out side the room and run copper wire from it to the ground post of a three prog plug. It wouldn't cost much and you could pull the rod and take it with you when you leave. Do you have another room to put some of the chargers or anything that runs electric motors, like fans, it may help some if it starts happening again. Les electrical noise the better.
