Xtreme21 Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Well, my provblem is why am i scoring so low? I used to achieve 6650 and now a get 3184 with the system in specs.. i just recenlty added another 512MB of memory but i though that would increase my performance. So i have 4 sticks of OCZ PC3700 rev2 all in dual channel.. is there anyhting else i should be considering? Im using the most current 3dMark03 Build 340 and 56.72 drivers. And i even reflashed my 5900 and my scores getting worse. Help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GTSticky Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 Sounds like memory timing issues to me. Check Sandra and see if your 2 new sticks are jacking your memory performance. Then tweak settings till you get the 4 sticks to perform close to your old performance with 2 sticks. Sandra is infinitely easier to test with than 3dmark. Once Sandra gives you a warm feeling, 3dmark will conform.
Xtreme21 Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 Whish part of Sandra do i use to test that?
airman Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 get cpu-z and look at the stats. btw...go back to the old pair and add one new stick at a time, benchmarking after each new stick...and see which one causes to screw up your scores.
