DevilMB3017 Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Great choices for equipment, I'm into electronica myself - but I like mixing digitally personally. I'm thinking about getting a Stanton myself in a couple months acutally.
Kamikaze_Badger Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Digital mixing is cake compared to using vinyl. In vinyl, it's all about the cues and practice, and knowing when to start the next one. In digital, it's just checking the map and time on the tracks. Here's a rule you should follow when you're listening to a DJ mix: 1. If the DJ has one hand on the mixer, and one hand on a turntable, then shut up and don't bother him, he's mixing.
