Nuclear Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 I thought I'd let you guys see some of my scores from my PowerColor "X800XT-PE", as its doing awesome so far. I love the X800 series cards, and I can't wait to get my 6800U to see if it can stack up to this card and my others. *My only problem has to do with 3DMark03, and its neccesarily a bad thing...it always shows my CPU speed as being 254FSB (3.8GHz), even though for these runs I was at stock speeds. I upped the FSB, and it still showed 254 speeds. I think my problem is self-induced, as I tried to edit a .dll to show my proper GPU clocks. Anyway, here are the scores and specs...so enjoy and let me know if you any questions. Specs: 3.0c @ stock clocks (hurts to say that) PowerColor X800XT-Platnium Cat 4.7 Drivers 512MB Mushkin LvlII PC3500 12907 in 3DMark03 at all stock speeds: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=2747479 It scores 66984 in AM3 at default speeds and clocks, so I'm pretty pleased with that. I haven't had time to run 3DMark2001, but I would bet it's in the 25K range stock.

Dasterdly Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Great score Nuc. The 6800U might just barely beat that, maybe not. They are both great card. I got 10k with my 6800GT at stock speeds and my 2500. My proc is holding me back with my score.
Nuclear Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Did I mention that this card is a X800Pro VIVO that I flashed to a X800XT-PE? I only paid $440 for the card, and it performs that exact same as my Abit X800XT-PE. The card OCs to 590/605 without any volt-mods or cooling upgrades. 14K will be easy on stock cooling and CPU OC, I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks! Nuclear Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 i cant wait for nuc to get that 6800 so all the ati guys will be like..ah crap LOL, I'm a ATi guy...so I may be saying that also. I really don't care at this point. Both makers are putting out some incredible cards that are both pushing the technology envelope.
