Mangar Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 Well my newest rig is up and running now, celly 2.4 @3.0ghz. Burning in and folding a few points for the "TAZ-MAN". This is in return for some dead cpu's to add to my project that he is sending my way. It will be a honor to have some cpu's from "down-under" in the project. I'll post some benchmarks later after I finish testing the stability of it.
Newport Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 Nice OC with the burn in lol... I wasnt able to get 300Mhz OC when i did mine lol. I just wish i had the "bling bling" to spend on computers. Hell, I am stillpaying off my bills for my first build 2 months ago lol. Kinda sucks not having the money when you want in and having the money when you dont need it hehe. InvaderTrax Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 You should try out one of those new Celeron D chips next time. They're supposed to be about as good as a 266 fsb Thoroughbred

InvaderTrax Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 Yeah, but it's a lot more like the Prescott P4a's than the P4e's. They the 533 Prescotts seem to OC quite well and have acceptable temps (more like those of a Willamette)
Cbass Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 long as it dosent get to hot im good im going to put a bunch of fans in the case ( dont like water cooling) what are the acceptable temps for a prescott core
