Mr_Yuck Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 http://svc.com/zacninp4amds.html weighing in at 773 Grams (* 450g is the specified maximum weight for an Intel Pentium 4 cooler.) should I get the aluminum one instead? or this one http://svc.com/zaulqucpuco.html (if this one, can you point me to a site that accepts paypal?) DarkScorpion Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 Are you looking for a silent cooler or for all out performance? If silence, I would get the all copper, it'll keep the temps down more, and be really quiet. Dont worry about the weight, the installation for the cooler is specially designed for the extreme weight. If you want the best PERFORMANCE from an air HS, get the XP-120 (if it will fit in your case and when it comes out) or the SP94 (or 97 for P4?) and one really high CFM fan. AYoKoNA Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 My friend has this HSF for his 2.4c.... Excellent choice, and great silent cooling. He is hitting 270FSB on his machine. (3.24)
Xavirious_ Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 Yea..for the slight difference in the weight between the 7000Cu and the 7000AlCu the copper on is a better value. I have it on my 2.4C which I hve running at 3.288. Needless to say the temps are great at 36 C at idle and no more than 46C at full load. Happy OC'ing and as always...
