Stachman31 Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 Over the last 2 years, I have only used NewEgg. I have never had any problem whatsoever. Have even bought a few refubished items, all good. Haven't used TigerDirect, but it looks like they have some good deals. I will stay with what works though.
kendellrt Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 I have used both. I prefer Newegg now, they have better support and return policies.
Whitelightning Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 I am in Canada and used tigerdirect.ca but I started looking around and found some other online retailers that sold the parts I needed cheaper. I found tiger direct over priced...although I live in Canada I have only heard good things about newegg.
Guest Ballz2TheWallz Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 (edited) Newegg, ive order everything i can from there, including video games its just plain better and cheaper, and the canadians dont have to worry too long cause it seems newegg is going to canada to, www.newegg.ca has been registered Edited June 26, 2004 by Ballz2TheWallz
Nemo Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 I have ordered from both with no problems. However, if you want quality go to Newegg (or zipzoomfly- which I prefer because Newegg charges sales tax in my state). My feeling is that Tiger offers lower quality- so when I needed a couple of really cheap cases for folding rigs- that's where I went and that's what I got. For service, free shipping etc. stick with Newegg or zzf.

davidst Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 I like newegg and zipzoomfly. I always get what I want and I get it fast and well packed. There prices are honest with out the rebate bs of TigerDirect. Yea u c the price -- it's useally after rebate Yes I did a phone order with TigerDirect years ago and it took a while to get my product and it looked like a repack which is ok but I'll never forget ordering over the phone and how the taker seemed so-- uh I don`t know-- uninterested maybe cuz it was a $29 ? One place to stay away is U-Bid, man. I thought I would never get my geforce 3, 2months. They would'nt help me, see they are like a clearinghouse so I had to call the client which they finally told me who it was to get my card. <_< On another order they charged my cc and never send it and even let me know it was out of stock and their was no more and still not credit my cc took 20 emails over 2 months to finally get the credit.
