Battlefield 1942 Problems

hey guys/girls, got yet another problem.

i just built a new system for my dad here are the specs,

Chaintech CT-7NIF2 mobo (nforce2 IGP+MCP chipset) (128mb gfrce4mx onboard gpu)

 

512mb ram (pc2700)

80gb wd hdd

winblows xppro w/all updates

and a 2100+ amd cpu

 

heres the problem, in battlefield, the fps and graphics quality are decent, no noticable fps lag whatsoever, but when you go to move the mouse, there is a pause before the movement shows up on the screen. it does it in the bf1942 menu also.

 

(i have a p3 933mhz with a 32mb nvidia tnt2 video card and it has the same problem)
