Byron Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Hey, I'm thinking about upgrading my power supply, but i'm not sure if I really need it. So is there a utility that tells you how many watts you are using? I have a utility that came with my mobo that tells me the voltages of the current power supply, but I want to know how many watts I'm using. Any good free programs for this? Mangar Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 One thing I look at before that is.. is the one your looking at stable power. You can have all the watts on the market, but if it's not stable on the rails, you're risking a lot.
BloodySunday Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Idk about any programs that will tell you but you could just open up the case and look on the sticker on the PSU.

Byron Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 na, i've got a psu tester, and if it passes that, then i think i'm going to put it in a psu case & change out the fans on it to led fans.
