Vampire Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 Yes the free fraps does suck. I used it to film some physics tests me and my friend were doing over a LAN and it only got the top left one and the quality was very poor
NCC10281982B Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 I had the same prob. Upgrading to the full verson fixed it. Though now I have a thing for recording all my gaming sessions. Gonna have to anogher HD.
hardnrg Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 as long as the performance hit was minimal, recording all my gaming sessions would be incredible! i can just imagine being able to have a little "highlights" session after, laughing to myself at some comedy antics in a game of UT04 Onslaught... would be killer to get screenies... no need for scrambling for the screengrab key-bind... just check the video after and extract the exact frame! might have to look into this... oh yeah, and the additional hard-drives! haha, i imagine 1024x768 @ 90fps (uncompressed) takes up some room!
