exeter_acres Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Probably a dumb question, but are college kids taking laptops into classes now? Do you take notes directly onto your laptop (there wasn't such a thing as a laptop when I was in school!!) My neighbor is going back to school and asked me... told her I would ask my young, virile brain trust at OCC!!
Dasterdly Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 My sister goes to Yale, and she can take notes and everyting on her laptop. She just can't bring it when there is a test. I am pretty sure this applies to all colleges.
Some_Guy_ Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Yup, I took notes on a laptop for the last year and a half of my university career. I just used NotePad. It helps if you can type quickly.

360RamGuy01 Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Not a single person with a laptop in class at my college, just good old pen and paper, maybe a tape recorder if the professor talks fast.
