d3bruts1d Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 WNBA? Heck... I don't even watch the NBA. Can't stand Pro sports... Collage sports I can stomach for the most part. But Pro? It's more about money than the game. No thanks.

I couldn't even stand going to my wife's games when she played (4 years in hs and 2 in college)... my god I can't take it... like nails on a chalk board to watch them play

Phil Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 I voted yes, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Womens b-ball has improved so much in the last 5 years it's scary. Women now have all the moves the men have and they're getting pretty close to matching their agression as well. That part is sad to me though, the self regulated play was refreshing in a day when it seems to be all about playing the refs, getting away with as much as you can. O(V)eGA_l2el) Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 In my opinion sports are fading away. ::shrugs shoulders::
ClayMeow Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Hehehe What is the WNBA? J/kNobody watches that stuff (atleast ppl I know don't), besides NBA Finals are on. yeah, i want a "hell no" option as well. I voted yes, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Womens b-ball has improved so much in the last 5 years it's scary. Women now have all the moves the men have and they're getting pretty close to matching their agression as well. HAHAHAHA. Right....whatever you say. And how many times do women dunk? (That was the stupidest thing giving that college chick the slam dunk contest...it was the dinkiest dunk ever...if my knees weren't shot, i could do it...she shouldn't get extra points just for being a "girl"...women scream for equal rights, yet they don't seem to mind when they get preferential treatment or added benefits). And same level of aggression? Has there ever been a cat fight? I'll admit, i wouldn't know since i don't watch it...but i've never seen one on ESPN...I'm sure it would be in the top 10 if there were. I'm not saying the fighting that's occurred in the NBA is a good thing, but it does point to a level of aggression that the women don't come close to.
