Coolzero101 Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 I have my regular ATI 9600 PRO 400/300 in with the regular fan and an 80mm Antec LED fan over it running at 2500RPM and 2 fans in the back blowing out cold air, how much could I boost my card without lowering its life drasticaly. Iggy Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 It's ok to o/c your mem, but I wouldn't recommend o/c'ing your core, because the stock heatsinks on 9600 Pros are pretty pathetic.
General Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 Get a heatpipe cooler and go nuts My prediction is u will get a good 10% oc on that card with decent cooling.
DarkScorpion Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 Get a VGA Silencer and some OCz copper RAM sinks, thats ALOT better than zalmans or thermaltakes heatpipe coolers
