OptikaliLLusion Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Okay, ever since I got my hp pavilion f1703, Battlefield 1942 has not been able to load any maps. I wat for 20 minutes and nothing. I ran a spyware check, an adware check, and a virus scan, and nothing was found. I reinstalled BF1942 and tried, but to no avail. Then I installed the 1.6 patch, and to no avail. Anybody know what the problem is? Specs in sig.

Coolzero101 Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 If you are using a moniter from an older computer you might have set your resolution to high for the moniter in BF, set it way down and see where that gets you.
OptikaliLLusion Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 This is a purely, never before used monitor. And the highest res BF goes to is 1280x960@60Hz, or something like that, whereas I have my monitor at 1280x1024.
