computerfreakxv Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 Ya it is overclocked why do you think you are getting the benchmark scores that you are? well...on my Power strip program it says that the GPU is running at default...(GPU-319.50) and the memory is way in the red zone...(MEMORY- 607.50)
ATI Radeon 8500 Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 Arrgh...I need a new CPU! Or at least a new motherboard to OC. If I could get my FSB to 133 MHz and my Radeon running all of its 128 MB or memory instead of 64 MB cuz of Sony crap, my benchmarks would rock. it is so annoying yeah and if you want to OC it more get powerstrip easy to use great OCer. I like my version 3.25. Mine runs the speeds of a GF4 Ti4600.

ATI Radeon 8500 Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 Oh I didn't see that you had powerstrip. Well a Ti4200 standard is liek 250/500. I'm not sure but it is quite low. Yeah so those speeds are huge for a Ti4200.
Destiny007 Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 how did you Oc that card so much and keep it stable! 280/500 is the most i can get without unstability. Thats on my ti4200 128MB Visiontek. i just dont see how it you can get it to stay stable.
Labo Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 They have ThermalTake GF4 Cooling kits, that will help some, and they are probably hand picked for overclockability.
Bosco Posted September 7, 2002 Posted September 7, 2002 Guys read the review it is enhanced meaning overclocked to the extreme. Thermaltake fan and ram sinks = overclocking that is why the clock speeds are so high.
