Suggestions For My Rig

I just started working on this mod. I bought the case for $30 on newegg.

 

I plan on sleeving the wires and illuminating the designs on the front that I carved out.

I also plan on adding a DVD RW in the spot below my DVD ROM

let me know if you have any ideas for things I could do to make my case look better.

I dont know if you have an etching or something on the sid windows becuase the pics wont load, but you might want to put one there and maybe if you really want to you could paint it or something.

looks pretty good, those cases are kinda hard to do much to becuase of the top and the curves.. but i like em, mabie a PS1 mini LCD screen in the front =) that would be ubah =)

yeah yer gonna have to do something with that area below the floppy area with those ugly amd and i'm guessin thats the case company logo... dunno, maybe i hate those square stock logos... the antec case badge logo on my old rig looks cool tho...

 

yeah, if you can do it mod that area to accomodate a nice open front intake fan, if there's already one behind there then just mod the front bezel (ie, cut/solder a hole) so maybe you can have a lit acrylic fan grill or something

 

this is all just my opinion but i like the black look and would paint those drive bay covers black, the silver front bezel surround there looks cool, the drive bay covers just kinda look wrong silver like they should've been black

 

custom, lit, air intake, maybe with some more of that cut design technique! keep the theme going and light it all up!

 

kinda looks red inside... so maybe mod all the leds to match?

thanks for the suggestions. I will keep posting updated pics. Im planning on rigging a EL wire into the wireless keyboard, cleaning the wires up with black sleeves, and getting red rounded ide cables. It's gonna own all of joooo. lol Ill submit more pictures for further suggestions. thanks

woundn't the el wire drain the battery too much or is the kb going to become wired for the el ??
