cracker75357 Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 I am running an older system with Fedora Linux Core 1, and wanted to know how to set up my network/internet. I have road runner (cable) internet, that goes through a cable modem, to a router, to a hub, and then finally to my computer through it's 3com integrated NIC. The auto-configuration deal when I installed didn't seem to do the trick and I have been playing around with DHCP but with no luck. Anyone offer me any help on this, or point me to some sort of resource? Thanks.
KraZy Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 I have been hearing alot of buzz about linux/intel problems. Most likely, some of your problems are comming from bad drivers. I have been reading that Intel is slow to release binary drivers and keeps alot of the code under wraps...
