bishop245 Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 well after getting the SP-97 installed i let it run with folding going for a bit the checked my temps and it dropped 10C roughly i was gettin these same temps with my TT V-11 but had to use an 80mm tornado to do it now i am using a high output panaflow (much quiter) and with the TT my temps were 52C most of the time dont know idle temps cause my com is never idle Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

My AS-5 is breaking-in , so was running my TT @4000 rpm, then thought it might be overkill, so dropped it to 3600 and performing just as well but much quieter. I'm on a trip right now, but couple days ago was seeing 40-41C seti-load with 20C room temp at floor level. @3600 the TT fan isn't too loud at all... nice fan IMO. Don't have air-conditioning tho, so in long run probably won't be able to brag until fall <_< Last summer could barely sleep with the heat... even windows open.
