r_g Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 ok i just got my headphones and mic(very nice headphones btw) and i hooked it all up but i dont think my mic is working i plugged it into the right port the one with the mic thing on it but still cant talk into it. hmmm....is it broken or did i do somthing wrong is there anyway to test the mic out? Yayap Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 In win xp go to sound and audio devices then hit sounds and audio devices at the bottom next to speech. Then move the tab over to voice and on that tab there will be a thing that says voice recording and under that it will say test hardware.
