tsamb. Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 My fan controller has one temperature probe on it and at the moment I have it probing the temperature of my CPU's heatsink. According the the temperature gauge, my CPU is staying cool enough (well the HS is at least) even when I overclock. Should I move the probe to my northbridge heatsink rather than CPU? Since my CPU isn't overheating much, it might be good to keep an eye on the chipset (especially when it's the FSB that you are cranking up when OCing P4s)... any thoughts? -tsamb. kobalt Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Since you can easily get those temps from MBM or some other program, i would put it on the video card HS
