p8baller07 Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 (edited) Well, after my older DFI lan party went out(bios) i picked up this new one. Bios is fine...i think, just i think the ram sockets are bad or something NONE of my ram will run in it, its all good ram to, tryed it in different boards, i also tryed the CPU, and the video card. Any ideas? i already jumped the cmos, so....idk. I tried Corsair pc3200 Dual Channel 512mb ram kingston pc2700 256mb ram Both ram chips worked on the other PC, and the 3rd LED is on, on my board (Testing ram presance) I am thinking about going and returning this whole thing, i am really getting mad with this board. ccokeman Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 Ram sockets are way loose compared to other boards i've had. When i put my ram in i was thinking it was waaaaaaay to easy to get in. Very little force was required to do the job. Could be the problem.Did you try using 1 stick at a time and trying all 3 slots to see if that was it?
