exeter_acres Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 First of all...since it is a choice it should read "Which" is better..... not "what" is better IIRC and I ma not a fan of Gigabite... I love my DFI Lanparty...the infinity is the same board with a little less bling bling for less money.... The abit is also a nice board..... If I were to buy another board, I would buy another DFI... I am very pleased
neb1211 Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 I would stick with an nForce 2 motherboard. I absolutly loved mine when I still had my XP 2200+ As for the brand I would say go with an Abit or DFI motherboard.
ccokeman Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 I second the motion for DFI . The infinity is the way to go unless you want the extra bling. Then the Lanpzrty fits the bill.
silentsoundguy32 Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 i've got 2 NF7-S and one plain NF7 and all work great and overclock well i would really recomend one.
Some_Guy_ Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 DFI all the way. Since it wasn't one of the choices, though, I would go for the ABit.
asus Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 DFI all the way. Since it wasn't one of the choices, though, I would go for the ABit. DFI has had some major problems in the past.. and many places rate DFI slower then Abit or ASUS / MSI ect....
Bosco Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 I have a whole bunch of the Gigabyte boards I have never had a problem with them, the GA-7N400L or 400P are good boards.
