I probably have $500. I've gotten really good deals on friends old parts. Who was that guy on here that said he went to the computer store and they said he had spent $19000? I can't remember who it was... he'll come forward eventually. :lol:

most of these are less expensive today. Those were the prices when i bought the stuff.

I have just over $2000 CAD invested in my box. That is not including monitor, keyboard, etc... Still want to get more modding done and need another hard drive.

 

I also am thinking I want to build another system already, just not sure what I want to do yet :)

when i built it, about $2100 in the one in my sig. and $2900 in the dual 3.2 xeon workstation i just built. working on a wc a64 system now which i think will be around $2300. Im trying something new, sending my case out to a high end body shop in my area for them to paint it Subaru World Rally Blue pearl. about $250 for the painting.

With the prices I paid originally, it totals to about $750 Canadian. When I was still using my P3, that would have totalled to over $1000. Back then, if you wanted 1 GHz, you had to pay dearly for it :P
