KiteOregon Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 I was overclocking one of my systems. I stepped the external clock one more step, saved and rebooted. On the reboot nothing, machine is on and drives are spinning but no display and i can not get back into the bios. I tried to reset the bios and nothing, any ideas? MSI k7n2 Delta AMD Athlon XP 2500 Thanks KiteOregon.
guinness Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 this sounds like something that happened to me link. basically i ended up getting a new mobo, because it fried not only my agp slot, but my ram slots. did you lock your agp frequency? what you might try is finding a pci vid card (from a friend or a store and just return it later) and pop it in and if it works all right, then you messed over your agp slots. good luck with this, i hated it when it happend to me. but all is not lost, everything should be fine except your mobo.
