asus Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 I use to be able to mount my windows drive in Redhat linux 8 by this mnt -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /cdrive now it wont do it? I just get an error saying device not found.. but the only diffrence is. i am now using fadora, and i have 2 hd insted of 2 partitions?? i changed the "hda1" to hda2?? any help would be welcome Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jezza Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Yeah, if you have Linux on your primary HDD and Windows on the secondary HDD, then you will need to use hdb, the number only reffers to the partition number, not the drive, the drive number is denoted by the letter after hd as JrLz said ) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
