kurosen Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 AFAIK, you should leave anamorphic filtering off. What it does is make the image project as if it was widescreen (like in a movie)... Bad for games (I think)... Please correct me if I'm mistaken
Eva_Unit_0 Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 Ansiotropic filtering is like anti-aliasing for Texels...it makes textures that are tilted at a steep angle to the viewer look much sharper.
Nuclear Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 Sometimes, some cards have trouble running any AA or AF settings. If the problem just came about when using that, I would turn it back off and see if that corrects the problem. If it works, then you know that your card doesn't runAA or AF very well. Vampire Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 My 2nd computers 9000 pro hates AF / AA, it just aint a powerful enough card to properly deal with it unfortunately <_< Just turn it off should be all good.
