How to recover large video files?

Recommended Posts

I have a disk from which large video files have been deleted. How can they be restored?

You'd need a lot more information there... SSD or HDD? Disk format? Windows/linux/mac?

If it's SSD you're probably SOL especially if TRIM is enabled, if it's HDD then don't use the disk at all or the files can be overwritten. Unplug it ASAP., do some research, get prepped before trying anything.

You'll need a file recovery software to recover the data. I've had good luck with EaseUS, there are other options.

If we are talking about video files, especially large ones, then it is better to use software that works with these types of files. For example, the Video Recovery program or something like that.

is this worth a try ?

How do I recover permanently deleted files?

Instructions for the method: find and select the folder where the deleted files were stored and right-click on it. Click “Properties”, then click the “Restore previous version” button. Windows will write down the previous versions of permanently deleted files.
