gaguhiyi Posted February 11 Hello, so i overlocked my Ryzen 1600 to 3.8ghz at 1.3v, ran AIDA 64 extreme twice for a 1 hour, and it was pretty good. no crashes temps was around 67-68c ~ , but now i changed vcore to auto and hwmonitor shows a bit higher vcore like 1.32 and temps are bit higher, should i stay on manual 1.3v or should i leave vcore on auto and stop messing around ?! thanks for advice. ir_cow Posted February 11 You can go to up 1.35v for 24/7 use. Some big overclockers say 1.4v, but that is a bit high for my own liking for long term use. If you passed a hour long stress test, I think that is enough to consider it stable enough for gaming. I looked it up and the Ryzen 1600 has around a 3.9-4Ghz soft-limit before it takes a lot more voltage and tweaking.
Fight Game Posted February 16 My prior 1700x and now my 3600x both, spikes up to 1.46 during light loads and sometimes stays there for awhile. Haven't worried about it and haven't seen any degradation. I do have an aio water cooler and temps never hit 80c though.
