A new day is here, with a new video card release. Except this time it's NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 3080 card. This absolute monster of a card is sure to dominate every game you can throw at it, with the even more monster RTX 3090 arriving next week. That one will be a test just to see what case it fits in, while the RTX 3080 is much more a typical video card size. The RTX 30 Series was unveiled just last month, with the RTX 3080 arriving officially tomorrow, the RTX 3090 on September 24, and then the RTX 3070 next month. Three huge upgrades to your system, as the RTX 3070 is projected to be similar performance to the previous RTX 2080 Ti, just for less than half the price of that card when it debuted. A lot of performance potential with these new cards, with many likely planning their upgrade or new PC around these. If the performance holds true, these will be the cards to get for now. There will, of course, be the new AMD cards along the way, but for now we've got NVIDIA and the RTX 30 Series.

This new RTX runs on an Ampere chip, bringing with it a whole host of features, not the least of which is the capability for 8K gaming. A new cooler design, new power delivery system, and even a new power connector are some of the physical features of it, while plenty more you'll notice while gaming. Could 60FPS at 4K with max settings for most games be a possibility? Is the 30% increase over the RTX 2080 Ti a true thing? Will this card, priced at just $700, be an absolute steal in terms of price/performance?

Well, just have to read on and find out from our review and the ones from our affiliates. So without any further, onward to all the RTX 3080 reviews!
