Hardware Roundup: March 2020 First Weekend Edition

Recommended Posts

The shortest month of the year has come and gone, with March now kicking off in full. We had several items posted here, starting off with a look at the DLC for Metro Exodus. A couple of video cards were reviewed, both from AMD, with the XFX RX 5600 XT THICC II Pro and the ASRock RX 5500 XT Challenger D 4GB OC. Both are budget-friendly cards that could be at home in your system, depending on what you're wanting to play. Wrapping up our reviews are a couple of videos, covering the Fractal Design Define 7 case and the Anda Seat Racing Series RGB Gaming Desk.

Flipping over to our affiliates, we have a comparison of the GeForce RTX 2060 and the Radeon RX 5600 XT in a massive 32 game benchmark to see which mid-range card performs the best. There's also a comparison of the Radeon RX 580 and the GeForce GTX 1060 to see which one has been the better investment since they launched. In another comparison, this time for CPU's, the Intel Core i3-9100F faces off against the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 AF to find out the best budget processor you can base a new build around. To help keep those and other processors cool, there's a look at the Corsair A500 CPU cooler for an air option, with the Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora 360 CPU Liquid Cooler filling out things on the liquid side.

We've got a look at a 32GB DDR4-3200 memory kit from Silicon Power, another look at the Fractal Design Define 7 case, and even a review of the ADATA SE800 Portable Solid State Drive so you can quickly access your data wherever you are without worry of a mechanical platter getting messed up when you toss the drive in your bag (admit it, we've all done it). The Acer SB220Q is a 21.5" monitor that happens to be a best seller, with it getting reviewed to see what makes it so special beyond its affordable price point. A fully modular keyboard from Gloring PC Gaming Race is reviewed to see how it performs, as well as how easy it is to swap out the switches. Plenty more is covered as well, including the anatomy of hard drives, a look at NVIDIA's DLSS feature, and even some headsets to keep you connected to your games and music. Check all this and more out below!
