Guest_Jim_* Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 It was back in January 2017 that the multi-year, multi-game partnership between Marvel Entertainment and Square Enix was announced, and ever since gamers have been waiting to learn what this would result in. At E3 last night Square Enix finally shared that information with the in-engine A-Day trailer for its upcoming Marvel's Avengers game. This trailer reveals how the game will begin, with Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor showing off a new Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco as well as a new helicarrier using an experimental energy source. After an accident results in massive devastation, the Avengers are blamed and disbanded and super heroes are outlawed. Five years later the world is in peril, so the heroes must be reassembled. Marvel's Avengers is scheduled to release on May 15, 2020 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia. After release it will continue to receive regular content updates so players will be able to continue the journey for years to come. These content updates will apparently include new super heroes and regions, which will be delivered at no additional cost if you own the core game. The game is being developed by Crystal Dynamics along with Eidos-Montreal, Nixxes Software, and Crystal Northwest.
