Guest_Jim_* Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 At E3 2019, Ubisoft has finally unveiled the next game in the Watch Dogs franchise and its location. Watch Dogs: Legion will bring players to a near-future London filled with criminals, a corrupt private military organization, and an oppressive surveillance state that you will recruit people to join a resistance against. These people you encounter by exploring the game-world are not just random NPCs, as each has a persistent schedule, a backstory, and traits you can leverage when you use the Play as Anyone feature. To take advantage of this feature you will need to improve their opinion of DedSec, persuading them to join and at that point you can take control of them. You can then develop them into operatives, like Enforcers, Infiltrators, and Hackers, and add them to a team you can switch between the members of as you wish. Each of these characters will be capable of basic environmental hacking, so you will not lose access to this established Watch Dogs system. If you like these characters, you may want to be careful with them, because your choices will impact the confrontations you have, and they can end with a character being permanently killed. Watch Dogs: Legion is scheduled to release on March 6, 2020 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia, and Ubisoft is working with NVIDIA to bring in ray tracing and other graphics technologies for the PC version. The game's different editions have also been described, with the Standard Edition being just the base game and the Gold Edition coming with the Season Pass and three-day early access. The Ultimate Edition includes the Gold Edition content and early access as well as some Ultimate digital content like the Urban Jungle Pack (three new characters with masks and outfits) and four weeks of VIP status, which accelerates earning experience and currency. The Collector's Edition will be exclusive to the Ubisoft Store and has everything in the Ultimate Edition as well as an LED Ded Coronet Mask Replica and instant in-game access to it, Steelbook case, three exclusive stickers, and a recto-verso propaganda poster.
