Oh and Video editing, love movies and always have a line to the TV. Here's a link to the M.B. I'm sure no other help is needed if any Oh I'm trying to get this done today right or wrong! I've been down for weeks and don't know what to do....I'm retired.....it sucks, the grass is always greener https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=ASUS Republic of Gamers Strix Z390-E Gaming LGA 1151 ATX Motherboard&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search=
Boinker Report post Posted May 18 Here is the CPU ark page from intel. https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/186604/intel-core-i7-9700k-processor-12m-cache-up-to-4-90-ghz.html DDR4 2666 is it memory standard . With some tweaking I am sure it can reach 3000MHZ. My favorite brand tends to be Mushkin but pick your poison. Just remember the greater density memory it is then the rougher it will be to overclock. If it were me though it would be this kit. Not sure how many GB you need though for video editing. http://www.poweredbymushkin.com/Home/index.php/catalog/memory/redline/item/1274-mra4u300jjjm8gx2
RHKCommander959 Report post Posted May 18 should be a real nice system, 2x8gb ddr4 3200 is about the best bang for the buck for performance/cost Why is your system down? A lot of times it's just a dead power supply...

Yes Sir It did die I had replaced it and the graphics card but then the monitor died....it was time and your right the ddr4 3200 is what I actually meant to buy.... but I know I'll not be able to wait for a return, I'll just live with it. Later I'll post the full build or should I say parts rolling in, Edited May 21 by P.TRIV
