Guest_Jim_* Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 One week ago, Stardock announced Siege of Centauri, its next game in the Ashes of the Singularity universe but instead of being an RTS, it will be a tower defense game. Siege of Centauri will still make use of the Nitrous engine though, which allowed both the original version and Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation to support thousands of units. For those interested in Siege of Centauri, the game's Founder's Program will launch on March 28, getting you beta access and the ability to provide early feedback into mechanics, pacing, and balance. Joining the program costs $9.99. We are also getting a little more information on the gameplay we can expect, including that resources will not come from destroying enemies. Instead you will need to capture and hold resource production points, then potentially sacrifice other areas of the maps to hold onto them.
