This means that even the original X370 and B350 motherboards can gain support for processors released years after the motherboard, though a BIOS update would be required to enable this support. Recently MSI announced it was releasing BIOS updates to add support to its X470 and B450 motherboards for upcoming AMD Raven Ridge processors, including the Athlon 200GE, 220GE, and 240GE APUs.
