Guest_Jim_* Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Today Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince has had its first gameplay details confirmed, and had an official announce trailer released. This fourth entry in the series will return to the 2.5D design of the first two games as Amadeus, Pontius, and Zoya come together again to find Prince Selius. The prince's nightmares have begun to enter the real world, wreaking havoc, and it falls to these heroes to save the world. You can expect more epic boss fights, fascinating puzzles, new skills, lush and vibrant landscapes, and a new soundtrack by the composer for the prior three games. Something new for the series though will be four-player co-op, local and online. The combat system has also been revamped for the game. When Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince releases to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, it will not be alone. Trine: Ultimate Collection will launch the same day and include all four games: Trine: Enchanted Edition; Trine 2: Complete Story; Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power; and Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. For PC, Xbox One, and PS4, the Ultimate Collection will be available both digitally and physically. Pre-ordering either offer at select retailres will get you a Trine 4 Cloth Poster and bonus in-game content too.
