The thing is it might still be a bit before I have it ready and submitted for our review editors to go through. I know this was a very anticipated title, so I am starting this thread for people to ask questions. I will do my best to answer these questions, without spoilers. Just a few quick notes before hitting the Post button though. I am playing it on my desktop, with my RX Vega 64, so I cannot answer any questions about RTX or DLSS. Also, until today I have been working with a pre-release version of the game, so I have not bothered to collect performance data. I also had some issues with trying to collect media (videos and screenshots) so I effectively have none of those to share either, but I may be able to get some and the issues might be better now that the day-one patch is in place. (It also might not be the game as much as the Windows 1809 update I allowed to install prior to starting the game.) So, with that technical stuff stated, ask what questions you want and I'll answer what I can. Okay, just finished the playthrough which took me 18 hours, 39 minutes, and 23 seconds (though actually 19:49:19 total playtime because I wanted to replay a section I did not do as well as I wanted to and had a convenient save file backup). Definitely enjoyed it and once I get something to eat, I'll get to work writing the review so there can be more detail than that and identifying things I liked and didn't like. ir_cow Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 I didn't like the Demo at PAX West. Seems like they took STALKER and Metro and merged them together. Looks really nice and the gameplay is decent. Just maybe a little vague on the story part. I guess you aren't the same person as the first game? dling Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 (edited) Ive been playing the new metro . Downloaded this weekend. Theres so much cinema shots that you forget its a game and not a movie. Im not very far into it. But I do get frustrated at all the cinema video. Hope it gets better.. dling Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Well Ive been playing the game off and on for a bit.Have gotten used to the cinema shots. Playing on the easiest setting. Tried at a harder setting and kept dying Well anyways the game looks great . I have the FE 2080TI oc'ed and getting frame rates at around 100 fps playing ultra settings.
