I think it is safe to say there are a lot of people out there, myself included, who have been looking forward to this information. Today Deep Silver and 4A Games announced Metro Exodus, the next entry in the Metro series, will be releasing to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on February 15, 2019. In this game, players will return to Russia twenty-five years after the Earth was devastated by nuclear war, where survivors endure in the tunnels of the Moscow Metro. Now Artyom, the series' playable character, are fleeing the Metro with a band of Spartan Rangers to cross Russia and find a new life in the East.
To celebrate this announcement, the title sequence has been shared on YouTube, but it is behind an age gate: Metro Exodus - Title Sequence (Official 4K). This sequence was made by Elastic, which also made the title sequences for Game of Thrones and Westworld. The score it is set to was composed by Alexey Omelchuk, the composer for the Metro series.
