Might be to much iron :withstupid:

Isn't the iron contained within the cells though? Didn't really think about it before, but if the cells do not release the iron, that could be fine. The acidity of blood I could see being an issue though, plus there would definitely be the compounds needed to grow things.

Depending on how disturbing you might find it to be, you could then say you are performing a transfusion on your computer, every time you need to change the fluid.

Back in 2013,.. IBM was building computers fuelled and cooled by a liquid, they called the project Electronic Blood,.. they had a huge rig called Vanadium in the laboratory as a test system - a type of redox flow unit, the liquid is charged via electrodes, then pumped into the computer, where it discharges energy to the chip while cooling it. I don't think they ever finished the experiment as they had too many bugs to iron out.

Back on topic............................  :)

4.6Ghz was a walk in the park

4.7Ghz just a few voltage tweak and increase LLC

4.8Ghz just a few more voltage tweaks and same LLC as 4.7Ghz

As is my usual luck with Gigabyte boards this wasn't anything more or less complicated and things are as we say "toaster stable".

Anyway, for anyone with a Gigabyte Z370 board and i5-8600K here are some BIOS screen shots.  Basically; 4.8Ghz at 1.224v and LLC = Turbo.  And I'm using dynamic/offset voltage control so that my CPU throttles.  Don't mind the "highlighted" entries, it just happened to be where my mouse was when I captured the screen shots.

Excellent Wevspot.

SO how does it feel with the M2 and the OC on it?

Is the Comp presentable. May see some build shots?

Also do you have the system on air or is this one underwater.

Hey wevs, bowtie, long time no see. I would say save up for the 8700K, if you can. I recently went from a 3770K to an 8600K and I definitely regret not springing for just a little more money for double the threads.

I stopped using Gigabyte after a few DOAs, been using Asus exclusively since, no issues (besides that the Aura software sucks)

yes, gigadouche has not been a friend of mine since I rma'd the p55ud5 listed in the sig for my x-wifes daily,... Asus became my go to when the replacement gigabyte came back with the same hiccup as the original....never again
