Guest_Jim_* Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Within the lore of the Witcher series there was an event called the Conjunction of Spheres, and it was through this that magic, all manner of creatures, including humans, came to the world the novels and games are set in. Within The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Geralt briefly visits some of these worlds, and now it looks like he will be taking another journey through dimension-crossing portals to enter Monster Hunter: World. Through a collaboration with Capcom, players will get to become Geralt of Rivia to complete a series of Witcher-inspired quests. The RPG mechanics of the two games will be blended for these quests, creating a unique gameplay experience. In case anyone is worried, Doug Cockle, the English voice of Geralt, will be reprising his role for this. This Witcher-inspired content will be coming to Monster Hunter: World for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for free in early 2019. The PC release should follow soon.
