Guest_Jim_* Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Today CD Projekt Red, the company behind the Witcher series of games and GWENT, has announced another title set in the Witcher game universe: Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. In this game, players will follow Meve, a war-veteran queen of Lyria and Rivia who is now facing a Nilfgaardian invasion. Her journey will take players to parts of the world not seen before as we go on thought-provoking quests with rich, multidimensional characters. As you play, you will be collecting resources to grow her army and fight enemies using the system present in GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales will release for PC on October 23, with its Xbox One and PlayStation 4 releases coming on December 4. Also coming on October 23 is the Homecoming update for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game that will bring with it many significant changes. These changes will be to improve the game's elements as we originally saw them in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and to incorporate player feedback from the Public Beta. One of the changes we will see is a rework of the game's board to be 3D with two distinct rows for the battlefield. A redesign of the game's visuals to fit with the world of the Witcher, a new deck-building experience, and new card mechanics are also coming.
