It's been raining so finishing paint is on hold but I went ahead and put the side on so I could mark where the cage is and cut out the plexi for the window and if you saw my other thread asking about etched edge lighted window I did end up etching the window and will be getting red LED light strip to light it from the bottom edge.

I guess you could say I'm putting heart into this mod/build.7912edf530ea6d6342e99d928c89d1c6.jpg4d2ef3dcf2e5c673b42e89f84b03f321.jpg8b008549349dc8fd30782418b3f3ee04.jpg

nice heart design looks cool to me

Thanks, my girl is a RN so it is a fun design.

Ordered red led strip earlier to light it.

Decided that since the R9-280X and GTX770 performance is almost dead even but the 280x has 1gb more ram and eats more power it's going to stay in my pc and the 770 goes into this so I can stick to a 600W PSU to keep cost down.

Hoping to get some time and decent weather coming up so I can finish painting and start assembling and figuring out the front panel.

I picked up a front usb/audio/sd card reader from a newer vastro/inspiron that I'm thinking about using in this mod.

Got the SSD and hdd mounted.

What I did was cut some clear tube and bought new screws that much longer than normal ones, put the screws threw from the back and put the tube on them then held the drives up 1 at a time and screwed them down leaving enough room for air to go under them and give me room to plug in the power cables.

I had to carefully trim the back edge of the window because I forgot to before gluing it to the side as it was keeping the side from setting low enough to hook in before sliding forward.

Thanks bishop I'm glad people are liking it being my first full mod it's a bit of a challenge for me and I'm racking my brain over how to do the front bezel.

Yes the heart is mostly over the CPU cooler and I didn't even plan it that way to start; cant wait for the led strip so I can light it up

This is an amazing looking mod love that the heart is right over the cpu or at least it seems to be to my blind self
