maxraj Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 (edited) Recently, I noticed that my MacBook Pro gets warm much more quickly than it once did. I checked my system monitors, and apparently my CPU is consistently running at about 50% or above. Checked Activity Monitor, didn't see anything unusual. Any idea what could be causing this? dling Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 (edited) Have you checked to see if the cooling fan vent is dirty ? Use a old toothbrush and give it a good cleaning .Not sure why it would be using so mush of the cpu though .
