1080ti sli

Recommended Posts

I'm not ready to buy a new MB and cpu. I just built the rig I have last year. I doesn't look like the 8700k can be used with my current MB.

I have TI cards and an 8700 and cpus LOL!  Will be using the 8700 as the basis for my game testing rig with the next video card review.

I followed the link and it took me to a card thats already sold :( . BTW how important is the back plate ?

Does it act as a heatsink ?

Yea,.. it sold a few hours after I posted,.. you could have removed another and went to hardware store and most likely got a replacement screw.

I guess those cards have a two piece back plate,.. seller's listing said he removed plate to run SLI and lost one screw ?,.. and yes it's sort of a heatsink but not a big deal running with it removed, I would have just bought a screw and replaced it.

Did you happen to notice it sold for 699.00

That's the cost of a new one. That's just crazy.
