Leldorion Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 Yeah, they're charging an arm and a leg for it now that it's hard to come by. I have some 2x256 sticks Mushkin pc3200 special 222 in my rig right now (I've only had them a couple of weeks, but I did oc them ) and I'd be willing to trade them as well as some cash for some pc3200 w/ the BH-5 chipset. As you might know Mushkins good stuff and these sticks can do 260fsb in my rig stable at 2-2-2-5 which is listed in my sig. I might be willing to make other trades, but I don't have too much, feel free to PM me about anything or just post. so... -pc3200 w/ BH-5 for my Mushkin pc3200 special 222 and cash
bloodking Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 you want BH-5 chips? get the twinmos memory i have (hehehehe) Twinmos makes three different kinds of DDR400 memory and one is named Twinmos Winbond....there are like 110~120 dollar (not sure if i calculated it right, it's 105 euro's ) the winbond variant uses the winbond BH-5 chips! check here
Leldorion Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Well I'm glad you got ahold of some, but the date of that article is november of 2002 And several checks through resellerratings didn't list anything for TwinMos Winbond, but I did find this possibly nifty site called axiontech.com while looking through pricewatch for winbond5. Is this going to have the BH-5 or not? I'd assume all level II had it, but then nuclears post got me wondering.... Then of course I'm curious if this axiontech is trustworthy or not.. Edit: resellerratings gave it 7.84...maybe worth it.
bloodking Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 (edited) if i had the cash left i would buy the twinmos and trade it with you..but i don't.... i'm not sure if all level II are BH-5 chips. you should ask in the memory forum i guess.... BTW...wanna trade something else then memory for your memory? Edited March 10, 2004 by bloodking

Leldorion Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 The mem turned out not to be what I was looking for, until I can find some mem to replace what I got I can't do a trade.....it's kinda hard to run a box without any mem.
