bloodking Posted March 6, 2004 Posted March 6, 2004 when i downloaded the new MBM5 today i saw that once i instelld it again it showed 3 temps instead of two? i've tried to figure out what the third temp is but can't seem to figure it out....in the settings it says that it's 1: case 2:CPU 3:CPU but i don't have 2 CPU's?? what's up with that? bloodking Posted March 6, 2004 Posted March 6, 2004 i googled the diode it was reading.....twas my last option to find anything.....i'm currently reading stuff about socket and diode temps....could that be correct?that the third temp is the diode temp and the second one is the socket temp? anyways...it's on a DFI Infinity ultra board....on my asus it would only show two... H2O Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 MBM showing 3 temp sensors are correct... 1 for mobo sensor, 1 for CPU sensor and 1 for PSU sensor.
exeter_acres Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 CPU diode reads the onboard diode of the CPU while CPU socket reports a sensor under the socket....
