CheeseMan42 Posted September 13, 2016 Amazon appears to have leaked the price of a cheaper Echo Dot on its Twitter account before deleting the Tweet. The original Dot has been a hot seller since its release in March, with it being sold out since July at a price of $89.99. The Tweet contained the apparent price of $49.99 but didn't have any information about a potential release date. For anyone that has been waiting for the current model to come back in stock, it may be worth it at this point to wait for the new model to come out.
